Oakwood is an Evangelical Pentecostal church affiliated to the Apostolic Church of Great Britain. We are also a member of the Evangelical Alliance UK.
Our vision is ‘to be the people God wants us to be, a Pentecostal people with a passion for the lost’ and our mission statement is ‘To worship God, love people and make disciples.’ All of this can be summed up in our purpose, which is to explain and show the relevance of Jesus to others.
We meet in the Albemarle Centre, Albemarle Road, Taunton (see map). Sunday morning service starts at 10.30am and we meet fortnightly for School of Ministry at 7pm.
We encourage everyone to attend a midweek home group where bible topics are taught and explored in a relaxed environment. This is also a place where prayer support and ministry can be given and received as we care for one another.
