Wycliffe Bible Translators UK

Wycliffe Bible Translators UK is part of an international association of Wycliffe organisations comprising over 5000 active members from 46 countries. Within the UK their role is to provide the links for churches to help build the church around the world and give people access to the words of life. Already Wycliffe workers have helped to complete 500 translations, making God's Word available to more than 35 million people. This has always been done hand in hand with local communities. But now more than ever they are able to pass on their skills through partnership with churches and agencies worldwide.

Vision 2025 -  By the year 2025, together with partners worldwide,  they aim to see a Bible translation programme begun in all the remaining languages that need one.

Oakwood Church provide financial and prayer support for Will, Judith, Peter, Rachel and Alexander Sawers. After spending 2 years back in the UK, they have now moved back to Africa. They are stationed in Bangui in the Central African Republic where they are involved in bible translation.
